Speaker : Kathleen Sherit

Kathleen served in the Royal Air Force for 22 years.  In retirement she has written a history of women in the post-World War II services (Women on the Front Line: British Servicewomen’s Path to Combat, Amberley 2020).  She is an experienced public speaker having given talks at major military museums, WIs and U3A branches.

Kathleen will be give a presentation on Inspirational Female Leaders in the Great War, their ideas for women’s military service, overcoming prejudice and inter-service rivalries.
